SILWATCH is a wristwatch messaging system for the hard of hearing. This gives you many kinds of message, such as that the front door bell is ringing, or the telephone or fax, or that the baby is crying, or will even alert you if somebody is trying to break in.

With a basic set, 1 receiver, 1 transmitter for the entrance hall and 1 transmitter for fax, it will vibrate on your wrist and then read DOOR or FAX on the watch-face. The receiver is a special watch which picks up the radio signal from a small transmitter placed close to the doorbell, fax, burglar alarm or baby’s cot. And all transmitters also have a call button

The Receiver
When the watch receiver picks up the signal from the transmitter the watch reacts:
  1. The watch vibrates 3 times per second, for three quick bursts
  2. The message appears on the face of the watch

It has an enlarged watch-face

The receiver can also be used as an alarm clock

From the door phone in the entrance hall, tel and fax, receiving an e-mail or mobile phone message, a baby crying or calling out the watch can alert you to all of these. Other options include a burglar security alarm

You can put the transmitter anywhere - or carry it about with you to use its call button

Easy to Install
Can be connected to the door-chime or the interphone flat microphone

Anybody can install it very easily.

Can be set to avoid picking up the wrong sounds, such as dogs barking or doors banging, by setting the volume-adjusting knobs

The Transmission Distance
The distance from the transmitter to the receiver is 150m to 200m when the receiver is worn on the wrist, depending on the environment

Long-Lasting Battery
The battery of the receiver-watch lasts about six months.

Water-Resistant
The wrist watch is water-resistant in general use, such as in a light rain or when washing the face, etc.
